Rinconada Library
The renovation and expansion of this historic 1958 library designed by Edward Durell Stone refreshes and restores original Modernist design elements and ageless intent while carefully adding spaces, systems, and resources to fulfill the needs of a contemporary library. The project creates an ongoing architectural dialogue and engages the site in ambitious levels of ecological sustainability.
