Day of Service with Grassroots Ecology
A joint event with AIA COTE San Mateo County and Silicon Valley

Please join the Committee on the Environment for a Day of Service led by Grassroots Ecology.  This volunteer opportunity offers a hands-on way to learn about the natural world while making a positive impact.  Volunteer with us to improve local ecosystems and explore nature in Redwood City.

When:  Sunday, November 10, 2024  1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: We meet at the southeast corner of Veterans and Main St in Redwood City. 
 Cost:  Free

Tasks: Mainly trash clean up, plant and water 8 to 10 plants, water other plants. Once the plants are in we will walk along the creek and continue picking up the trash.

Other Notes:

Vegetation clearing and restoration attire; layered clothing, backpack and sturdy shoes.
Water and snacks?  Please bring your own.
