Description of the presentation
For an increasing number of people in the Bay Area, the dream of homeownership is out of reach. Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco (Habitat GSF) builds and sustains affordable homeownership opportunities for working families. Through the construction of affordable homes for ownership, home preservation and advocacy, Habitat GSF has helped create a pathway for economic stability and prosperity for more than 480 low- and middle-income families.
Over the past 30+ years, Habitat GSF has built more than 250 homes. With 120 Habitat homes underway and 130 more homes coming forward in the pipeline in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties, Habitat GSF is doubling their impact. Join Habitat GSF CEO Maureen Sedonaen to discuss the state of affordable homeownership housing and homebuilding and how the unique model at Habitat GSF continues to drive generational impact, housing equity and stability for working families in our region.
