| On behalf of the AIA San Mateo Board, we want to thank you for being a part of our community. Over the past year, we focused on bringing technical and design-focused lectures to our fellowship events as well as improved communication with our members. Based on your feedback from the chapter survey, we will also continue to enhance the quality and value of your membership.
Looking back on 2019, we hosted a total of 28 events ranging from the Net Zero Energy seminar and ARE study sessions, to fellowship lectures at Stanford, as well as the annual Home Tour event which took place in Portola Valley. We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the support of members, affiliates, and the generosity of chapter sponsors. It’s been my honor to serve as the AIA San Mateo County President in 2019, and I look forward to staying involved on the board in the future. Many thanks for our Executive Director, Jackie Tanner, and a huge welcome to the 2020 Board of Directors!
