AIA NAC Mentorship Survey

Introduction

This study seeks to gather data detailing the perception of professional relationships and the interpersonal modes of career success among new and experienced professionals.

 

Procedures

You will be shown a series of multiple choice and open response questions. The questionnaire varies in length and will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete. Questions are designed to provide insights about professional support. This questionnaire will be conducted through Google Forms.

 

Benefits

There are no direct benefits for participants. However, it is hoped that through your participation, the AIA National Associates Committee will learn more about the role of mentorship, sponsorship and other interpersonal modes of career success in the practice of architecture.

 

Confidentiality

All data obtained from participants will be kept confidential and will only be reported in an aggregate format (by reporting only combined results and never reporting individual ones). All responses will be concealed, and no one other than the primary investigator listed below will have access to them. The data collected will be stored in Google Forms secure database until it has been deleted by the primary investigator.

 

Participation

Participation in this research study is completely voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at any time or refuse to participate entirely without penalty.
