AIA San Mateo county is proud to be part of the Bay Adapt Community.
Outreach and Participation occurred through dozens of expert working groups, public forums, community and stakeholder focus groups, presentations, an environmental justice caucus, and led by a Leadership Advisory Group—hundreds of people from across the Bay came together in 2020 and 2021 to develop the Bay Adapt Joint Platform.
Final Bay Adapt Joint Platform!
In October 2021, the Bay Adapt Leadership Advisory Group reached consensus that the Joint Platform is final and ready to move towards implementation.
The Joint Platform reflects the Guiding Principles developed earlier in the process. It also reflects Outreach and Participation through an Environmental Justice caucus, public forums, working groups, community and stakeholder focus groups, presentations to boards and organizations around the region and a public feedback opportunity.
