[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]I’m excited about joining the AIASMC as Executive Director. Because I know Martha D’Amico personally, I cannot replace her — simply succeed her.

As you may know, I’ve worked closely with the Chapter’s leadership over these past two-and-a-half years on the various communications and event announcements. Although a Graphic Designer by education and trade, I’ve worked in tandem with [and for] Architects for over fifteen years (CSS Architecture, Bartos Architecture), and have a genuine interest in your honorable trade; to me, the world of communication design and architectural space seem intrinsically paired.

Not bashful in public advocacy, I’ve been a recurring speaker at Chabot College’s Introduction to Graphic Design Careers lecture series, as well as on-camera narrator with the State of California’s STAR testing process training video. I’ve also worked for non-profit organizations, such as the Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, and the National Benevolent Association (Serra Residential Center, in Fremont, California), and understand the need for advocacy and community support for the greater good.

I vow to bring the Chapter a sense of energy towards generating an engagement within our membership, emerging professionals and potential members. My door will always be open and available to you for anything I can be of service with — don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.
