Palo Alto is hosting an Intro to Zero Net Energy and Beyond: Design Tools and Strategies Training for Single- Family Residential Buildings. The training will feature Ms. Bronwyn Barry, CPHD, Board Co-President of Passive House California. Ms. Barry will review superior tools and strategies to design to achieve Zero Net Energy. The training will explore how to re-vamp design thinking to confidently and affordably deliver comfortable, super-low-energy homes, which may then be powered by renewable energy. The training will conclude with a panel of experts who will explore Zero Net Energy philosophy from both a design and policy perspective. The event targets designers, architects, engineers and building professionals already involved in the single-family residential building sector.
