Want to make a difference in a teenager’s life? Had a mentor who impacted you? Woodside High School is looking for mentors to share career information with juniors. Easy communication in person and via email, phone, and Zoom. Our focus is on career exploration and the development of professional communication skills. Key deliverables include elevator pitches, SMART goals, job shadowing, resumes, and mock interviews.
The mentor program will pair students with professionals to discuss both academic and career goals. The student’s career interests are wide-ranging, from art and marketing to soil science and green building. I’m hoping that you, or someone that you know, might be able to participate in this program as a mentor
Commitment: Mentors and mentees meet for 90 minutes each month from October 2026 to May 2027, with a set curriculum focused on career exploration and advancing students’ business communication goals.
