AIA San Mateo County is seeking members interested in serving on the AIASMC Board of Directors. We invite you to join us in looking at new ways to shape our future and the sustainability and health of our community in the built environment.
AIASMC is a member-led organization that is supported through volunteer leadership and initiative. The devotion and dedicated efforts of our board members and other volunteer leaders are invaluable to the growth and resilience of the chapter.
Open AIASMC Board Positions:
– One (1) AIASMC Director at Large, to serve at two-year term (2023 + 2024)
– One (1) AIASMC Emerging Professionals Director (must be licensed for 10 years or less), to serve at two-year term (2023 + 2024)
Qualifications:
– Must be an AIASMC member in good standing
– Must submit a Statement of Interest that includes:
– Name and contact information
– Specify position of interest (Director at Large or EP Director)
– A brief paragraph on your past experiences with AIASMC
– A brief paragraph of experiences with other nonprofit organizations
– A brief biography
– CV/Resume (separate document is ok)
– Headshot (high resolution jpeg)
Board Statements of Interest are due September 21.
